The North Norfolk Branch and ourselves had 18 cars between us on the stand at
the Norfolk Showground. The weather was kind to us and we had lots of people
visit our stand to buy regalia or take a membership form. I don't think there
were as many of the public as was at the Police Gala Day/Radio Norfolk Rally,
but the content of stall and attractions kept those that visited busy. The
Mini Club were in evidence in the main ring with their 50th Anniversary
displays.
Our members attending were Kevin Ashley with his traveller from Nottingham,
Steve and Phillipa Miller from Bury St Edmund's with their saloon, Ken and
Debbie Allen from Dereham with their saloon and van, Owen and Pam Smith from
Gt Yarmouth with a Series II and 1000 convertible, Jacky and Brian Lloyd from
Ipswich with their saloon, Tricia and Jimmy Loades with their pick-up and one
of our new members Peter Wilson from Taverham with his newly acquired
traveller.
