6th May 2007 - Ipswich to Felixstowe Run.

 

Six Morris Minors gathered at the Asda Supermarket, Ipswich for the run.  Chris Mitchell, Pam and Owen Smith, Jacky and Brian Lloyd and Tricia and Jimmy Loades met up with Richard Bass and his daughter from Essex and Denver Beal from Stowmarket.  Denver has since become a Branch member.  Richard was not booked into the run, but he managed to park with us in Christchurch Park and drive with us all the way to Felixstowe.  Unfortunately they would not let him join us on the seafront. 

 

We all managed to park together and drive together along the run this year.  We saw other Branch members Bryan and Hilary Gostling and their daughter Emma in her Mini and John and Maureen Barbour.   The weather this year was a lot warmer and brighter compared to the rain of last year.  The event was not without it's hiccups, with Owen and myself both experiencing petrol pump problems on our cars.
