28th August 2006 - Eye Show.
The weather for the Eye Show was not very good, and we were turned back to
wait until the ground had dried out a bit. We waited on the road side in the
entrance into a farm. Five Branch members joined us and also five of the
North Norfolk Branch. We sent Jacky and Brian Lloyd ahead at around 10am who
were to telephone back to see if we could go in.
It was OK so all ten of us ventured in and parked together. The ground wasn't
too bad but we had showers all day including one of hail. At 1pm we went
around the ring and were given our plaques. We then left at 4pm, just as
another shower was looming. It wasn't too bad a day.
