24th August 2008 - Eye Show.
The weather was so bad for this event that we decided not to put up our Branch
stand. It rained until 2pm so wasn't really worth it. We had four Morris
Minors at the event amongst some more die-hard car enthusiasts. The owners
were Steve and Phillipa Miller from Cambridge (Branch member), Andrew Ross
from Essex, Pam and Owen Smith and Tricia and Jimmy Loades. There were two
saloons, one traveller and one convertible.
Two of us went around the ring, despite the weather and spoke about our cars
and the 60th Anniversary to the commentator. We also had a display later in
the day of the Land Rover Club who also celebrate the Diamond Anniversary this
year.
