17th February 2008 - Bowling.

 

Ten members enjoyed some ten pin bowling along with the North Norfolk Branch.  Five bowled and five cheered us on.  We had a game of ten pin bowling at Ten Pin, Bowthorpe near Norwich.  After which we travelled a short distance to Two for One at the Cherry Tree at Costessey near Norwich, where we all enjoyed a lovely meal.

 

Our bowlers were Pam, Brian, Sue, James and Tricia.  Our supporters were Jacky, Judy, Jimmy, Martin and Owen.  We had a raffle which raised £30-00 which will be donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care later in the year.  Prizes were given for the highest and lowest scores, which both came from our Branch.  Highest scorer with 128 was Brian Lloyd who was presented with a pot plant from our Chairman Owen Smith.   Tricia Loades was the lowest scorer with 57 and was presented with a  game of ten pin bowling for practise at home, by John Arnott, North Norfolk's Chairman.
